Stay or exit?

Daily I hear of staff who are unhappy, disillusioned, don’t want to be at work etc etc.  We all have days like this but if it is an ongoing feeling, something needs to be done about it.  Some companies are more receptive than others when it comes to receiving feedback from their staff.  Sometimes the ‘beef’ is with the immediate manager, other times it is with the company itself.  Ultimately, if the company will not change or doesn’t want to change, then you are working for the wrong company.  This is not apportioning blame, it’s just a fact that the fit isn’t there.  You may have differing views, outlooks or culture.  Irrespective of the reason, if you don’t align to where the CEO is taking the business, or the overall culture of the organisation, probably best for you not to be there!  Staying in a job which doesn’t meet your needs doesn’t do anyone any favours.  Utilise your talent elsewhere.
