I have extensive networks internationally as well as in depth understanding of numerous countries infrastructure, business culture and expectations around the negotiation process. I have sat on the India New Zealand Business Council, assisted NZ Government with Free Trade considerations, and developed route to market strategies for products far ranging from water, medical devices and boats.
I am a firm believer in bilateral trade. I recognise the need to preserve intellectual property, maximise first mover advantage and change the playing field so that a point of difference can be maintained. While I abide by the rules, its also important to influence the rule book and offer up differing interpretations.
