I take companies from 'bad to good' and 'good to great'. This usually requires evolving the strategy, mentoring or training the people, and refining or overhauling the processes.

It is relatively easy to define a programme of work (a project) then find out down the track that what you have actually been working on is the effect of the issue, not the cause. There is little point training your team to sell more product if the product is inappropriate, has a sub optimal margin, or your channel to market has holes in it. The danger of engaging a specialist in one field to resolve an issue is that they will apply their specialty to resolve the problem, even if it is apparent that the problem is caused elsewhere. This is purely a band aid. Trying to resolve a strategy issue with a sales specialist just doesn't work. Equally, having a generalist who doesn't have the detailed knowledge to enact a certain element of the plan will cause problems of equal measure. I am a specialist in the areas listed below.
