My experience in the media sector covers press, radio, and a host of print solutions including magazines. I work both at a strategic level and operationally. Strategic planning right through to managing or training the sales team fit within my specialty. My focus is on growth, whether this be from traditional sources or emerging technologies. Managing the dynamics of editors, journalists, sub-editors, sales people, creative and preprint teams is easy when you know how. My background in marketing, sales and the print industry has prepared me well for most eventualities.
Event management requires discipline, a logical thought process but also the ability to plan for the unexpected. I critique plans and procedures for those organising events or expos, adding both a practical as well as a client/visitor/participant perspective. I also audit what the final offering looks like.
