Audit & Review: What you measure you can manage
I am not interested in completing Audits or Reviews for compliance sake. If you want to review how your business, a division, a team or an individual person or project is performing and then are willing to act on the findings of the review, then I am interested.
Too many reviews have a standard methodology which often misses the mark or doesn't pick up the nuisances of the situation. Every review I complete has a framework built around what is right, what is wrong and what needs to be improved. It takes into account the relationship with the wider sphere of influence. As an example, a project may be doing well in its own right but will fail to deliver the outputs because the brief for the project was wrong in the first place.
Reviews and Audits I complete include:
- Operational Reviews
- Business Warrant of Fitness
- Governance Reviews
- Leadership Team Reviews
- Your Pedigree: Tell you what others may think of you
- Strategy Audits
- Sales Audits
- Marketing Audits
- Communication Audits
- Performance Audits
- Trade Show/Expo Audit: Is your stand 'fit for purpose'?
- Climate Surveys
- Client Focused Systems: an evaluation
